AF Rounds — Privacy & Security Policy

Who is responsible

AINTREES FACILITIES LTD is the publisher and developer of the AF Rounds mobile application (bundle identifier rounds.af.app).

This policy applies specifically to the AF Rounds mobile application across iOS and Android distributions. For privacy matters concerning this website, see the website privacy notice.

Zero data collection and tracking

AF Rounds is built as an offline record-keeping tool. It does not collect, store, share, transmit or sell any personal or operational information about you or your organisation.

The application contains no analytics software, no tracking SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party libraries that gather telemetry.

No network connectivity

The application operates entirely offline. It contains no network client code, makes no HTTP or socket requests, and performs no background synchronisation.

The Android manifest requests no internet permission. The application functions with full capability in plant rooms, basements, and locations without cellular or Wi-Fi signal.

What data the application holds

The only data held in the application is the information you enter yourself to manage your buildings. This comprises:

• Sites, buildings, floors and zones drawn on the grid
• Equipment registers, asset tags, makes, and chosen maintenance check intervals
• Inspection walks, round check completions, temperatures and meter readings
• Reported defects, priority tags, status updates, and vector sketches
• Cleaning zones, schedules, and sign-off audits
• Site contacts, phone numbers, and application settings

On-device sandbox storage

All records are written as plain JSON files in the private documents sandbox assigned to the application by the operating system. They are never synced to any remote database or cloud server.

The application maintains ten rolling local backups on your device to protect against accidental loss or corrupt state. These backups never leave your phone.

Device permissions

The application requests no device permissions. It does not request access to your location, camera, photo library, contacts, microphone, or Bluetooth.

Defect illustrations and floor plans are created directly on an integrated vector sketch canvas, eliminating the need for photo storage or camera permissions.

Data export and sharing

Data leaves the application solely by your deliberate, manual command:

• Copying text to the clipboard with the COPY action
• Saving text summaries with the SAVE .TXT action
• Saving tabular reports with the SAVE .CSV action
• Backing up or transferring site files with EXPORT SITE FILE

Data retention and erasure

You retain complete control of your data at all times.

You can permanently delete all sites, logs, and stored settings at any time using Settings -> Erase everything (confirmed by typing ERASE).

Uninstalling the application from your device immediately removes all local database files, rolling backups, and settings.

Children and age ratings

AF Rounds is a professional workplace tool for caretakers and facilities staff, classified PEGI 3, ESRB Everyone, and IARC 3+. Because the application collects zero data, it does not collect information from children under any jurisdiction.

Security and encryption

Because the application makes no network transmissions, data in transit is not applicable. Data at rest is protected by the operating system sandbox security and the hardware encryption of your smartphone or tablet.
